0x00 To Hero Episode 2: Binary Exploitation with Beginners

This is a sort of redo of an old series that I did a long time ago, one that I did not do well but that garnered a fair bit of interest and piqued my interest as well. I've been wanting to get into binary exploitation, exploit development and reverse engineering for some time now but have been putting it off for quite a while. I figured I'd document my journey, in the hopes that I can help people learn along side me!

So in short, it compares to see if CreateFileA returns INVALID_HANDLE_VALUE or not and then goes down that success branch you mentioned

So you were on the right track, just didn't have the technical info about it, hopefully this helps some.
