Using the same old platform as existing decade old Hilux and not the TNGA platform as originally rumored. So sadly no chance that they would use the V6 diesel. Will be the same old 2.8 diesel they have been using for a decade now and also started using in the new Prado. So basically this Hilux is just a facelift with the interior burrowed from the Prado

All the hirizontal lines in design pronounce very much of typical toyota.

Very disappointing to see the Hilux continuing on with the same outdated IMV platform, would’ve been great to see the Hilux transition to the all-new TNGA-F platform. As far as im concerned this is nothing more than a heavy refresh, it's certainly not a full redesign, nor is it worthy of the 'next generation' title.

I believe the interior will be the same just like innova and not with double led screens from land cruiser

Playing it safe has worked well for Toyota in the past. But in this fast changing auto market, think Toyota is getting it wrong. Once the specs of the new Hilux (nothing new about it imo) comes out I bet there will hardly be any innovation. Just the same old in a new outfit.

Wow what a handsome brute. Love the styling good job Toyota. I'd love the GR Sport to feature at least the 3.3L twin turbo V6 from the Land Cruiser LC300. Now that would be perfect with up to 700Nm of torque and 304bhp
