He shops at the grocery store I work at. Great guy, very down to earth.

This guy single handedly turned the O's around. He's got a special eye for talent.

I love how he called them no names and Mike Elias proceeded to name every player for him.

This interview made me like the O’s even more.

Smart GM and no mistake the O's are in the position they are in winning with a ton of prospects. Curious to see how the log jam will be resolved and what the O's do as confirmed buyers. Another starter seems like the number one priority. When you hear about having to sign the young talent to long term contracts you have to wonder how it will all come down.

Orioles are legit, and they still have many young studs in the minors working their way up. They have drafted very well the past several years, and have kept their coaching staff intact for the most part, which builds comraderie and culture. They are very exciting, and it’s great for baseball to have a classic franchise like them become highly relevant again. I like it.

Hope he hits a homerun in this years upcoming draft as well. Should be interesting

Good to see the Os getting more national spotlight attention for the right reasons

"how bout that" lol Chris Russo is terrible but Elias is a professional. "bunch of no-names" What a loon that guy is.

This team has young cheap talent and a ALOT more on the way. If ownership would bump payroll up to the top 10 like they did during the Buck Showalter era it could compete for a very long time. Would love to see them add a starting pitcher to replace Irvin and or a bull pen arm for the 7th inning.

Tatis with the Padres has shown to be the rotten apple who definitely inflated this team’s team spirit. Humbly think that such a trade would throw the current O’s under the bus, especially where they show that their team spirit is excellent!

Not hard to read between the lines at 8:20 and see that the current ownership doesn't plan on paying any of these good young players. The younger Angelos has said they want to pattern themselves on Tampa so I wouldn't expect to see guys like Rutschman get extended, sadly.

I'd be shocked if the Orioles do anything major during the deadline. I want them too, but I just don't see it.

I taught Elias teach his pitchers my Football Slider from Rookie Ball up and let the cream rise to the top. Didn't he mention this off the air here? He's not going to make it public so others duplicate the blueprint. It's the same Blueprint I taught the Rays in 2018. I'm known as the Football Slider guy inside the ML lines. On center grip, Throw like a football, stiff wrist. I taught Glasnow, Musgrove, Taillon, degrom, Flaherty, Jordan Hicks, Amir Garrett, Folty, McCarthy in May 2018 alone and then hundreds more as the the 2018 season counted down. The Sweeper is the Roger Beshens influenced Football Slider. Arm angle dictates the break. Horizontal sweep and vertical drop all with the same Grip, Tilt and Wrist action. Notice some say it's a new pitch? LOL Didn't Andrew Miller have a sweeping sweeper slider. LOL

The Orioles just need 1 ace I think the staff would be set up perfectly with just one guy sitting at the top

Orioles really are strapped for cash. Can't even remodel his office.

Only thing holding this team back is ownerships willingness to pay to go get that missing piece to get and win the WS

If your answer to the question of "will you extend your franchise player and best catcher in baseball?" Is not an immediate yes you're not serious about this team being competitive. It is now abundantly clear that elias is not the guy who's gonna make us a world series contending team. Won't add payroll won't trade for any (good)pitching and won't extend our key players.
