I remember hearing Van Morrison sing this at a much earlier gig - Dylan's concert at Wembley Stadium in '84. He was fantastic then and he is fantastic here!

This version is very different from original. Gal Costa has a fantastic portuguese version of this song (Negro amor), because she had a incredible mezzo soprano voice when she was young, at ocasion of release of this song for Bob Dylan. I love this song!😍😍 I think everybody that hear Gal Costa will love it.

When he covered this with his band Them way back in the day, it was the absolute best cover of any song by Dylan and it remains that way, to this day imo.
