This past weekend, I got to spend some time in a closed alpha for the upcoming free-to-play Ubisoft shooter XDefiant. Although I signed an NDA stating I could not show off any gameplay (which looked remarkably polished!), I am able to talk to you all about it. Which is the purpose of today's video. I recorded this back on August 20 but am finally releasing it for you today.

I have 4 things to talk about based on what you said here:

1) I don't care about Ubisoft IPs and I still love the game!
2) Glad to hear someone else who isn't a fan of super fast TTK in games. It's fine to have a hardcore mode for people who do like that.
3) I was definitely not expecting you to say the double barrel was the standout weapon. Took me way off guard (since everyone talks about how great the LMGs are) but it made me happy.
4) I've been playing since the 3rd playtest and the controller has always vibrated fine for me, so don't worry, the functionality is there!
