In the tradition of native indigenous leaders rising up in response to unfair treatment from colonial governments, Victoriano Lorenzo successfully waged guerilla warfare against the central government in Panama in the early 1900’s. His uprising was only terminated when, like the great North American chief Crazy Horse, he agreed to negotiate only to be betrayed and assassinated. Directed by Panamanian tribal member Orgún Wagua, TRANSPARENT HERO seeks to revitalize the memory of this now legendary figure.
