Great tutorial! The clarity in explaining, its crucial for newcomers. I've been working on blockchain development for two years, and it's always inspiring to see content that eases the initial understanding.

As someone with literally 0 experience with javascript, the syntax looks very similar to C++ to me and I've had no trouble understanding the lessons thus far (made it through about 10 of them, not in order).

I appreciate the honesty man. At least I now know I'll have to start with Java Script

Followed through all of your 29 videos slowly throughout this weekend! Thanks for taking the time to introduce Solidity. It will be 31st August 2020 our Independence day tomorrow so its a public holiday, so that means I get to play around with Remix with what you had taught. Will think about getting the advance course that you mentioned in the end of the 29th video. But just letting you know, in the meantime, I've clicked on the Subscribe button to show my support to your channel! If I ever get somewhere with this blockchain thing and end up being interviewed one day on how it all began, I'll be sure to mention your name haha! Sincerely, thanks again and Salut! :)

• A constructor that stores the address and name of the owner
• A function that allows the owner to create a whitelist of addresses.
• A function that allows only the user from the whitelist to deposit tokens into the smartcontract
• A function that allows only the users from the whitelist to withdraw any amount from their own deposited tokens

qno 2
Write a secure smart contract on solidity that has following functions
• A constructor that stores the address and name of the owner
• A function that allows any user to deposit tokens into the smart contract
• A function that allows the user to withdraw its own deposited amount only after 1 day
• A function that allows owner to change the ownership (address and name) of the SmartConnect

• A function that allows the owner to pause and unpause the smart contact

Hi Julian. I want to enroll some of your courses, but bit stucked with defining correct order. So, question: what order of courses on eattheblocks you will recommend for beginner in Blockchain? Goal: become professional sdet/dev engineer in blockchain area.

So for my first language I shouldnt begin with Solidity? I've had people tell me to learn java first...or maybe even Python. But my issue with this is the lack of efficiency. Sure; prior knowledge/understanding of Java im sure would go a long way when learning Solidity..but if my main goal and purpose is to learn Solidity, why would I first spend time learning a whole different language simply to lessen the difficulty of Solidity? By the time I learn Java (with the intentions of utilizing those skills for solidity) I could have been far along in my Solidity training. It will take longer to get the hang of Solidity without any prior programming experience, but in my opinion it will still be most time efficient to begin with the one I want. I can then leverage my Solidity knowledge to learn java and possibly python faster...effectively still saving time when learning the 2nd language, but this way I am starting with the one I originally wanted to learn. Does this make sense? Or is it really that hard to learn solidity without Java experience? Thanks.
