[SITCE 2022] BYD B12 on Display / Walkthrough

In this video, Jin films the BYD B12 Blade Battery Electric Bus at SITCE 2022.

The BYD B12 is the successor to its K series of buses (i.e. the K9), which includes many new improvements as compared to its previous generation, like a more efficient wheel hub motors, a lightweight body frame, improved ergonomics for drivers and passengers, as well as the blade battery with a new battery management system, watercooled from 25 to 35 degree celsius.

The bus was done to the specifications of the NUS Internal Shuttle Bus, contracted under ComfortDelGro as of recording, and is set to be in operation soon. (A few days prior, another bus was also display on NUS campus grounds, its not this exact bus.)

Therefore, the equipment installed would be simillar to its counterparts, like a Kabym AL-K80 terminal, wireless and USB charging, and PIDS (the latter three are recent addition to the new electric fleet of NUS ISBs).

Edit 1/12/2023 : Bus has been registered as SG4013A, under SBS Transit Seletar depot. Most of the interior should remain the same.
