If you’re ever at Schiphol Airport (Amsterdam) you could go to an Art Exhibit with masterpieces, among MANY other activities. All without leaving the airport. It’s one of my favorite layover spots!

My mom was a air operations officer and her rule of thumb was to make me be there like 2hrs earlier(I flew alone) and I’m used to it so now as an adult I get there, look for my gate, pick a spot on the floor and use my backpack as a bean chair and sit down to draw on my tablet lmao.
(If I’ve got extra money I will buy myself a snack or food)

I stayed in the airport about 16 hrs after Thanksgiving break because my flights kept getting canceled, i was about to lose my mind, i couldn't do much because i always had to be aware of the next flight change. 10/10 would never do again
