I was bummed the legion 7i didnt get a deal on the 100% dcip3 screen but then I snagged one for $1250 certified refurbished from Lenovo outlet. Honestly so happy with this laptop. Played cyberpunk and Hogwarts for the first time and started playing around with my lightroom catalog, I'm loving editing photos on that beautiful display. I didnt realize how much I was missing doing photo and video on a crappy budget laptop screen from 2019.

The thing about sales in India is that they generally happen around Diwali, which alternates either a month or two weeks before Black Friday depending on the year. This year, it was on 31st October, so most of the deals have already finished.
In any case, the situation is always dire.

Scored an open box Zephyrus G14 2024 RTX4060 in great condition from Best Buy a couple days ago for about $1075. Essentially it was listed as good condition as it may have scratches\dents, but mine came in pretty much mint condition.

On the M18 R2 be sure to try a coupon code or play with the configuration- I got a fantastic deal on one with RAID 0 SSD pair. Dell also dropped BIOS 1.9.0 which also includes the 0x12B final fix for the VMIN shift problem; I can confirm it tamed down the spikes though I still see some over 1.5 volts almost always on efficiency cores.

in india, colorful and gigabyte entry in laptops is pretty recent (especially colorful) so people have doubts over its after sales services. laptops are expensive as compared to other countries u mentioned, electronics might get more expensive in the coming months in india, there is so much focus on self reliance, i have the semiconductor industry grows quickly, so we wont have to face the those high tariffs and duties.
