There is so many 18" mini-LED/OLED coming up now with the 50-series. Often with fancy things like Gen5 SSD and four RAM slots. Very welcome. Unfortunately, they will all cost a fortune.

i'm happy that laptop manufacturers finally decided on better quality materials and finishes... also the 1.9kg model is another interesting one, and something that i am happy to see more in laptops with dedicated gpus. I love the portability and i think that's a great direction to go and advance towards, even though there might be slight limitations on max performance.

Hi Jarrod'sTech, so far I've heard about MSI, Lenovo, Aorus, Asus, Alienware (rip still no Oled or miniled :/), Razer and Acer.

I'm waiting after 2025 to buy myself a gaming laptop as I'm constantly moving from home to work and from what I've gathered so far my best options are either the new Asus Strix Scar 16 or Lenovo Legion 7i pro

The Lenovo Legion 7i pro ticks all the boxes but there's something strange I've found in all the press communication so far : they are mentionning Thunderbolt 4 while all the others brands mention Thunderbolt 5.. could that be a mistake ?

Do you have any information or did you manage to test any Lenovo product ?
