Diervilla splendens Diva

The foliage of Diervilla splendens 'Diva' is not only red when growing, it is red the whole season. Before falling off in Autumn, the red colour gets even more intense. Form June till August, 'Diva' shows deep yellow flowers on the tips of the branches. This creates an impressive contrast to the red leaves. Like all Diervillas, also this variety is absolutely winterhardy and therefore perfect for use in the Scandinavian countries. It can be planted as a single plant or in groups.

Diervilla splendens 'Diva' won best shrub at the Montreal Botanical Garden's annual awards 2018, 'Diva' won a silver award at the HTA show 2018. 'Diva' also won a Golden Medal at Plantarium 2017 in the Netherlands.
