Lucky to have seen it last August on the big screen. Couldn't help but feel like this is how all of Fujimoto's works should be adapted, especially since he's a huge cinephile.

I saw this masterpiece because my brother wanted to watch with me. My brother never really invited me to watch movies with him, but I am so glad he did.

I'm an artist struggling with art block and self-esteem. Seeing how much both characters try to improve over and over again made me cry so much. It made ME look back at all the pain I've endured making art. It kinda also gave me acknowledgment? Like a hug saying, "You're not alone. You've done well."

No amounts of words can express what I felt watching this movie. I felt even more emotional just the thought of my brother. He probably wanted to watch it to show ME because he knew I was an artist.

Honestly a must watch for any artist out there. 10/10
