DJ Masa - HERstory (BoA vs. Michael Jackson 20th Anniversary MEGA MASHUP)

Truth is that BoA was my very first inspiration to create this channel and to even start remixing music. I have been following her work and since my teens, my 20s and now my 30s, so this milestone is very meaningful.

I am a little late for the celebrations of her 20th anniversary, but here is my tribute to her incredible legacy that inspires generations. As she is a huge Michael Jackson fan, I decided to mashup their works together in a musical-like piece.

Just wow! This is my favorite video ever!

As a huge huge fan of both artists, I can't begin to describe how much I love this video. There are so so many small touches that you've added to it, your clearly know both their work and then you have an amazing understanding of music to find those connections to combine these songs!

The Woman / Scream combo is like it was always supposed to be like that, amazing! Probably won't be able to listen to either song without hearing this version in my head hah.

The KML / Remember the Time combo is unbelievable! You need to do a full mashup of them!!

I love how you included Another Part of Me.

The slow motion Scream camera pan, perfect!

BoA is the closest to MJ in terms of being a complete pop artist and her voice, dance, charisma, rhythm etc are basically meant to be mixed with MJ music and you did such an amazing job!

The One Shot / Billie Jean combo, wow! Magical. And the way you combined the video with the music. And such an amazing touch you added her singing "Billie Jean is not my lover". Damn the vibe when you combine these two songs and the video is magical!

The way you combined the spoken Dangerous part describing BoA, so clever, just perfect! And the way you mixed My Name and Hurricane Venus into it! And the entire editing of all the video clips during that section with My Name, ID Peace, Nega Dola etc.

Camo +Thriller, perfect combo again!

Black or White and Atlantis Princess, the feel and the choreos, perfect combo!


No1 with Love never felt so good, it's Iike that's the way No1 should sound!

BotDF and Valenti, perfect mix! Perfect movement for the music.

Shadow and Another Part, just genius!

This video is perfection! Just perfection! So so so many small touches with all the music and choreo so thoughtfully edited together and the drama of the video too, going from the opening seconds of BoA starting her career to describing this amazing individual with the Dangerous spoken part to ending with you're still my number one and acknowledging the 20th anniversary date.

Can't thank you enough for putting the effort you put into this video!

Would be amazing if you did another one for her 25th anniversary.

And your really should make a full KML / Remember the Time mashup, it is absolutely magical, just too good!

This is fantastic, I hope she sees the amazing work you did with this! I was very lucky to meet her once as she judged me for auditions that SM/JYP/YG held in the U.S. (back in high school when I thought I wanted to be a kpop singer lmaoooo). She was so prettyyy.
