Since the photo was presumptively taken by Prince William, an amateur photographer (at best), why wouldn't the photo be altered? Why would anyone have a problem with the photograph being cleaned up a bit? After all, even the paparazzi clean up/edit their photos before sending them out.

This is the 21st Century where technology is literally at our fingertips. Instead of indulging in what the media has made a blood sport of the Wales family photo, let's all graciously and kindly wish them well, as they have wished us all well, and move on.
