I somehow fell down the rabbit hole of YouTube and it led me to one of your feeding videos. I am a HUGE arachnophob but watching your videos (and other tarantula channels) has made me really want to get one for myself lol 😂 I don’t know what kind but I really want one 🖤🕷 now I just have to convince my husband and kids that we should get one

We had LOADS of Arizona blonds on our property, specially around our koi pond in Az 🌵. Extremely docile. I will say that over the years perhaps we fed them too much as we began to feel like the cricket-piazza delivery couple. After a few years the females would feel our vibrations as we walked over the koi pond crossings at night. Which would bring them out like a dinner bell. If my wife was digging in the garden they would come out to see what the fuss was about. You can simply let them walk onto your hand if you have to move them a few feet away from a spot your working in. The males would come courting during the monsoon. Always funny to find where they would end up… wrapped around a door knob for example 😳. Best part is they kept the bark scorpions at bay. We never had any issues with bark scorpions. They must be delicious to the Az blonds :). Rattlesnakes, now that’s a different story.🙄

I just got my jumping spider today. It’s a Phidippus Regius and I did not realize it was going to be so big. He is so cute

I've had a huge fear of spiders my whole life, but seeing how you handle your wee fuzzy friends, has given me a new appreciation for them. Let start off by saying this: I’m a 6’8 285lbs Blk man and I was INSANELY afraid of spiders…. Until I discovered you and your videos! You know, so many other YouTube channels show tarantulas either fighting, or eating cute things that either scare you to death, or make you hate them more! But this is the very FIRST time I’ve ever felt even a MODICUM of affection for an arachnid, and it’s all because of YOU. I used to think, “The only good spider is a ….., “ but thanks to you, I’ve changed the way I see them. You’ve done SO much for my arachnophobia, and for the first time, I see spiders (specifically Tarantulas) for the beautiful creatures that they are… May Anansi continue to bless you! 😋🕷

I have never been big a fan of spiders at all. I am not however, the kind of person who immediately kills them when I see them. I always just let them be, or relocate them outside. You do a really great job in your videos making them seem not so intimidating. So much so that I am seriously considering getting one. They really are beautiful in their own way. Some are even kind of cute and that is something that I never thought that I would say. 😃

I have one & she’s much darker. I love the lighter ones She’s also super friendly. She wants out of her enclosure all the time. I may rehouse her. Her enclosure is plenty of room. I do take her out about once a week. She just walks all over me then lands. And stays for a bit! I just love her!
