Is there any way to buy these upgrade kits anymore? Looks like Apple now only sells one for the 2023 Mac Pro, and the specifications say that the 2023 Mac Pro is the only compatible Mac.

The level of control Apple exerts over using their computers is ridiculous. What would you do if you only had one computer? I would never pay that much for anything that someone else had more control over it than I did.

The absence of this after-purchase feature was a big complaint of most of youtube reviewers at the time of launch, I wonder why didn't apple took this route from the start. The only downside I see from this ( Apart from the price ) is the leftover SSD, is there a way to format it ? I've hear its the same drive as the iMac pro.

Great video, just a question on the screws, did you get an extra one with the upgrade kit? I just purchased a used Mac Pro and also purchased the 8TB upgrade used and it did not come with any screws and Apple being Apple I know these are just not something you are going to try and match up. I am on the hunt to get another screw or screws. Any help would be appreciated.
