All the drivers gave their verdict after FP3 and qualifying as Max Verstappen and Carlos Sainz finished on the front row in Melbourne whilst we saw progress for Alpine as Esteban Ocon made Q2 for the first time this season.

As much as I love DR I can't keep defending his bad results. All credit to Yuki at the moment, he's proving to be the No.1 driver in that team, and more deserving of his seat. If Yuki keeps this up he'll be the one challenging checo for the main RB seat, not DR. DR on the other hand looks like he's done, Liam Lawson is more deserving of that F1 seat.

I'm still a DR fan but can't keep ignoring these bad results or keep making excuses. He needs to hurry up and perform or the team will have no choice but to replace him like McLaren did. I suspect he'll get till mid season, but if things don't dramatically improve by then I'd say his F1 career is over.
