Love Kalandra. Katrine Stenbekk's voice is magical. Wouldn't have made the Liz Fraser connection but I can definitely see where you were coming from with that! Thanks for giving exposure to this lesser known but phenomenal band. Their debut album The Line dropped late last year and it's great. Highly recommend their songs Borders, Slow Motion (live from Gildenhallen), Lullaby (live from Storas), and their cover of Helvegen. Love their mix of rock, indie, and Scandinavian folk. influences. Their music an be quite dark and have a harder edge, or be sparse and haunting, but it's always beautiful.

Beautiful. Yes she reminded me to of Aurora. The harmonies and some lines I thought it was a cover of Aurora. 😉

Love Kalandra! They've been around a while, but just fairly recently dropped their debut album. It's such a good album. There's so many good female singers from Norway lately, but there's some really good male singers as well. One of them is Einar from the band Leprous.
