The Nintendo NX is dead, long live the Nintendo Switch. The highly-anticipated (and now, officially named) Nintendo Switch will be a home/handheld hybrid with detachable controllers - and it’s out in March 2017.

But what actually it is? What about the controllers? The Games? The Systems power? The fact it’s using Nvidia technology and not AMD chips like the PS4 and Xbox? James tells you everything you need to know about the Nintendo Switch.

Great video guys! Your overview is definitely the most realistic and down-to-earth representation of how the NS will (most likely) turn out. Of course, we'll know for sure in January when the rest of the details are revealed. Hype! :)

Since you did mention the devkits, the same resource that said the devkit uses the old tegra also said the kit had a 10 point touchscreen. Why would the touchscreen be dropped between the devkit and the retail version? And why would they have one on the kit in the first place?

The thing I want to know most of all is the battery life of the system/controllers, will there be a wall plug to charge them on the go like the 3ds, and what is the max resolution?

How do we know that the dock has no processing power boost?

Thank you! I was tryna figure out what the black thing with the two prongs was. Figured it probably held the joycons, but wasn't sure why 👍

Way too many things stated as facts that are speculations and rumors at best.

The narrator pronounces "R" as "W".

What I want to know is if the switch will have a big enough cartridge hole (or whatever it's called) to hold 3Ds and 2Ds games in the hole. Because if it can then this could be the first console (handheld hybrid) that you could actually play a Pokemon game on (only if the Pokemon company agree's with the idea).

I don't know why they think that the combined joy con standard controller would charge the joy cons. Where would the power come from? I Think it's just showing which player they are for example player 1, 2, 3, or 4. At least that makes more sense to me.

So does the switch come with any games preinstalled?

My stupid complaint is the fact that if I buy a case to protect it, I'll have to remove it every time I slide it into the dock lol I like to get cases and screen protectors for my tech to keep it forever new.

Get ready... In my opinion the main NS will be $400.00, hopefully that includes a game. If you remember in earlier 2016 Nintendo said that there will be two versions. The main NS for $400.00 as I mentioned and a (2) joy-con main screen portable version for $250.00... Just my theory.

that's not a cartridge.. cartridges use mask ROM chips, it's flash memory ie SD card

the publishers saying they'll support it doesn't mean they'll make major games like destiny and cod for it
it's idiotic to expect those to run on it since they're all about spectacle
