Fifteen-year-old guitarist Brandon Niederauer is living proof that dreams really do come true. Having played in the most legendary rooms in America with some of the most prominent musicians of our time, the young guitarist/singer/ songwriter has built up quite the reputation in the music world, welcoming the nickname “Taz” amongst fans and peers alike.

It started when Brandon watched the movieSchool of Rock at eight-years-old. Also inspired by his father’s record collection, he instantly realized he wanted to play guitar. Four years later, he was cast as the principle role of guitarist “Zack Mooneyham” in the Tony Award- nominated Andrew Lloyd Webber Broadway production, School of Rock the Musical at the Winter Garden Theatre. Since then, Brandon has appeared on NBC's Jesus Christ Superstar Live on Easter Sunday and is currently starring in Netflix's Spike Lee series She's Gotta Have It.

Living in New York City welcomes great opportunity for Brandon to play with some of his most idolized musicians. He’s had the brilliant experiences of playing with members of the Allman Brothers Band including Gregg Allman, Butch Trucks, Warren Haynes, Derek Trucks, and Oteil Burbridge, as well as other notable musicians such as Buddy Guy, Stevie Nicks, Lady Gaga, Slash, Jon Batiste, Dweezil Zappa, Eric Gales, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, Dr. John, Otis Taylor, Gary Clark Jr., Col. Bruce Hampton, Eric Krasno, George Porter Jr., Robert Randolph, Karl Denson, Doug Wimbish, John Popper and countless others. He has also played with Umphrey's McGee, Scorpions, Dumpstaphunk, The Revivalists, Galactic, and so many more.

by taz!!
i am a big fan of taz the
guitarist from over the pond here in england.
taz and our own toby lee
are imo the best two
young guitar stars.
i follow both of them
here on youtube.
this is exactly what
i want to hear loads
more of but can't
find anywhere at all.
i want to hear high quality recordings hopefully of taz
playing solo
electric guitar
like he does here
similar to toby lee's
sunday jams.
