Saskatoon met with nightmare commute after being bombarded with heavy snowfall
Показать описание
A winter wallop is pounding the Praries, with high winds and heavy snowfall, creating a nightmare for commuters in Saskatchewan — including Global News meteorlogist Peter Quinlan.
Starting Saturday, the snowfall may be the larges Saskatoon has ever recorded, with 30-45 centimetres falling and covering the roads.
While the snow is expected to taper off overnight into Monday, it is expected to take a while to be cleaned up. The blizzard will be followed of average temperatures of -30, feeling like -40 with a wind chill.
