If I could be serious for a moment, Lance is one of the best.

I wish we saw this Lance back in the day. He’s comes off as so nice and humble.

1:53 it's actually a testament to how much Lance Storm is a key figure in (Canadian) Wrestling Pop Culture and in Pro wrestling history

Bret Hart: I suffered from humiliating booking back in 1997!
Lance Storm: That's cute.

I remember watching that PPV at the time and I couldn’t understand how even Russo hadn’t done a role reversal with Storm and Awesome. I mean he was in the WWF when they did Canadian Stampede ffs

Calgary... *dramatic pause*... Alberta Canada

All due respect ... we're not going to give credit to Dawn Marie for cementing Lance Storm as being from Calgary during the ECW days? When he literally didn't talk and she was his voice? We're going to say it was Vince? Ok ...

Bret Hart is underrated. He is a top 3 of all time.

I kind of wish Lance Storm and Bret Hart would had a match because it would have been epic it would have been called The Battle of Calgary it would have been the two of the best technicians in the business who innovative submission wrestling and they would have gone on head-to-head the match that will never happen that WCW could have sealed this opportunity and did

Lance deserved better. Sure, he wasn't going to wow you with his promo skills, but there were plenty of guys in the Attitude Era who got by without great promo skills. Ken Shamrock and Steve Blackman were 2 examples. They were just so good and their characters were over that they didn't need to talk much. It's a shame that Lance didn't have a longer career in a major company. Obviously, being in ECW in the 90s, there's no shame whatsoever attached to that. That was, at least those early years, a very well booked wrestling company with a lot of different styles of wrestling. But Lance could have been a part of the Hart Foundation or even been a heel up against Bret.

Ah Chris, with all due respect, I think when they think of Calgary there are only 2 names that come to mind and that is Bret and Owen Hart. Lance Storm was a great talent but I wouldn’t put him above those 2 legendary wrestlers.

They should have done Team Canada again in WWF with Lance, The Mountie, and PCO but with them more as a militia

Poor North Bay never gets mentioned with Lance Storm 😂

This match is an example how Russo knows jack shit about wrestling. All you had to do was have Lance and Mike do their thing and deliver a banger of a match and the crowd would’ve loved it. It got ruined by typical Russo bullshit and it just made Lance look weak and Mike plagued with terrible booking.
