The amazing thing about your videos is that no matter how basic of a subject it might be. I click cause I know I’m guaranteed to learn AT LEAST “One thing I didn’t know I could do in Logic Pro” lol thank you bunches!

Always something fun and new with your channel. I don't know how you manage to do it so frequently, but you keep it creative.

I absolutely adore the arpegiator in Logic. Have recently started including it in my songs and it's my absolute fave!

Great tutorial. I love the arpeggiator. One trick I like to do is get it cycling and add the Scripter function for note probability. Get a short sound (or even piano) with a little delay and/or reverb, set the script to like 20% and layer that with a pad like sound. It adds random tinkles into your patch which can bring some sense of motion without sounding like a rhythm. And because it’s following your chords, every note is going to fit.

Another trick is to range limit and transpose a track and get useful bass lines that follow your chords while staying in the bass register. I sometimes write/create Track Stacks that use several layers with arpeggiators at different rates and different ranges and sometimes note limited with probability and end up with some interesting parts by just playing chords. Because of the probability and range limit melodies pop out in their own. It’s great for live performance.

@7:00 . . . if you drag the 'output' of the Arp, rather than the 'input' . . . onto a new track, you'll get the actual pattern rather than just the notes you held down, which makes it easier to edit . . . hope that makes sense.

Very nice the way you described everything. It was easier to follow than some other Arp tutorials!

This was slick... thanx... not my style of music, but the concepts are the key takeaway. You also did a really nice job of covering all aspects and details of what your were doing functionally, THAT is very helpful...

Thanx! 🤟😎

the Arpeggiator is one of things I love about Logic Pro.. Spectrasonics introduced their Arpeggiator many years ago to Omnisphere so Logic is a little late to the party.. but it's here now and that's what counts.. thanks Sabrina!

That was incredible! I've only ever used it to arpeggiate through chords before...
Freedom now that I have so many possibilities for creation without using AI drums and bass.
