最初、新曲かと思って聴いてて
途中で『流行りのディスコ』とかの歌詞が出てきて
あれ？いつの歌？
ってなってカバーと知りました。

当時既に巻き起こってた
シティポップブームを知るきっかけになった曲です。

Man, that intro to the guitar solo at 2:05 with the guitar and the claps is sooo smooth. It's awesome.

While not brimming with the odd nostalgic feeling of the original and the razor sharp instrumentals. It does have good harmony, and FNP's voice is rather smooth and beautiful. In my eyes this is a worthy cover that does the original justice.

Idk how to describe it, but the old one sounds like a walk out in the city late at night with your fancy clothes, and participating in glamorous activities but this one feels like you’re just in your poor condition apartment in hoodie and sweats late at night rewatching an old anime (evangelion, Bebop, or maybe a Ghibli movie) with nice tea, ramen and your cat is curled up beside you
