November 3rd 2021, this is my first time hearing this song.
I would cry at the moment, but im in a cab. I would cry because it reminds me of my wife who died in 2017. She was my everything. My best friend. My muse. We used to write poetry together, for each other, wrapped in silk and velvet, under candle light. We shared a love of Burroughs, the Doors, Lou Reed, Jim Carroll, and more. I miss her...

Theres something about music, something about it that has chased me during my entire lifetime, even if Im barely reaching my 20s, but I have listened to so much music in these past 5 years, so many artists, bands, songs, albums, LPs.
And there is something about music that nothing else can reach it, and my pinnacle of it is this song, this song represents and example of what music makes me feel, the essence of it.
If theres one thing im grateful to be alive for is to be able to listen to these amazing sounds, and I shall listen till the day I die, which I hope at a really old age.
I will be happy that I got to experience this.

Anyone that has had a friend or crush over the internet who lives thousands of miles apart will understand the pain that comes with physical distance like that. This is straight to the heart for me, because I've experienced the feeling ten times over.

this pierces my soul to the very core. not many other songs have the same effect that this one does on me. the shoegaze genre as a whole will always be dear to me. so bittersweet yet so hopeful. reminds me of those fleeting moments of euphoria, those moments that you know you'll miss as you experience them. this song makes me grateful to be alive and able to hear such masterpieces.

This song feels so raw and real. It reminds me of so many memories in my life, both good and bad. I remember I would just lay in bed at 2am and listen to this song on blast while staring at the ceiling. With either no care or too much care in the world, but it didn't matter because I'd always end up crying by the end of it. Always will be my #1 comfort song :)

I love how this video gathers people who love one other despite never seeing each other... like a little club :) This song got me in a very delicate time in 2015 when I was off university and unemployed and trying to find what to do with my life... would bang the door of my room and stay the whole day listening to this and soldering some fuzz and tubescreamer pedals for sale. Good memories :)
