New Ford M151 MUTT Project Part 1 Pickup and Inspection

We pick up an early M151 project.
This one had a delivery date of 1961 which makes it an early M151 straight
In this episode we go an pick it up and bring it home.
We then inspect and pressure wash it to get an early indication of what it's going to take to get it running and driving.

A few other early features I noticed, floor drains, "ledge" for shovel and "plug" for fording snorkel on hood, nice.

I just purchased a 1961 Ford pre M151A1 and am looking to restore it. The body on mine seems to be in about the same shape but it doesn't have much rust at all. It's missing a few parts but it runs and drives perfectly. It hasn't been cut and is titled to drive on the road which I heard is really rare. I guess most are off road use only. I heard that only about 1, 000 to 1, 500 were road legal. Hopefully I'll learn something good by watching your video.
