I love squares. I only use them on projects like a shawl though, where I don't have to change to other needles for sleeves etc, that I would have to use rounds though. Squares make my sts extremely consistent and tidy, so if I have to switch, I am not able to match gauge on rounds. I once knit a dish cloth half squares/half rounds or 4.5mm tips to see if I was seeing what I was seeing. And with my knit style and tight tension, it was true. I do love the feel and result of square needle so much though. Easy on the hands. I know you will enjoy using that set very much!

This set looks so pretty & I've never tired the squared knitting needles before. I have KP's
Rainbow Options Interchangeable Circular Set & I do like the sharp tips, but I can't see my sts when I knit with some darker yarns. The J'Adore Needle Set case looks nice, but it would be a magnet for dog hair & the needles would probably be too dark for my enjoyment. Thanks for reviewing them.
