After reading the lore that the Crimson is basically _alive, _ the beginning of this track now creeps me out. You only hear this music when you enter the Crimson, so it sounds like it's waking up, alert to the presence of something that it hasn't consumed yet.

The Crimson was so good at spawning in the middle of the Jungle that for a while I thought the Jungle music was the Crimson music.

I love how the Crimson doesn't share any soundfonts with any other biomes, as opposed to Corruption sharing them with Purity. It's a little detail to reinforce that the Crimson isn't a naturally occuring thing: it's an otherworldy hivemind that's already conquered galaxies.

Imagine if the Crimson was real. You're walking in a beautiful forest, taking a peaceful stroll to explore while some peaceful slimes bounce their way by you. As you continue to walk through the forest, you smell a FOUL stench. You look around, but, you don't see anything that could be producing the smell. But as you walk further, the smell gets worse. You keep walking. It gets worse. The area starts to smell like a strange scent of iron. As you keep walking through this forest, a drop of blood drips from one of the leaves onto your face. You keep the pace, and the blood dripping increases in frequency, as the smell is almost unbearable. Eventually... the trees are soaked. The grass soak your footwear in blood, as each step gives a *squish* sound. Torn and lone eyeballs torn in the grass, in the trees, dead carcasses. The smell is rotten. And then you see it. You see...

The Face Monster's gaping mouth as it simply stands there. Staring at you with its' hollow eyeholes.
