Early Morning Sheet - Canggu, 17 March 2021

The Sandbar was dressed in silk sheets early on the 17th of March, and although the swell had dropped from the previous day, you couldn't fault the conditions.

By 7:00 am there were already around fifteen people in the water, but with two or three peaks to choose from, there were opportunities for everyone.

By late morning the crowd had doubled in size and the wind started fluffing up the face a little, but there probably would have been something to surf all day since the wind never blew out of control.

That first wave was a big closeout bomb. Glad no one was on it. Haha. More cruisey fun for the average Joe again though. A great break to learn on and refine your skills especially the locals winding up for the sick airs🤙

Surfed Canggu back in eighty two just me and five of me mates it was perfect overhead with no buildings just all rice paddies and a Balinese local selling jaffels in his little shack made out of sticks just up off the sand . Time sucks !
