Highly doubt this budget motorcycle will ever get a double disc up front.

So glad I got the 23 Titanium colour, in se form as the black for 24 sucks. Just my opinion.

I hate the exhaust they put on it tho makes it sound so bad also just because of the engine itself but that’s just how it is. aftermarket is so expensive tho

2 major factors that i do not like about the Honda Rebel 500. I do not like the instrument panel and i do not like the gas tank. You can say what you want about the simplicity of the Instrument panel. Who cares! Time to get on board with the new tech. For crying out loud, it don't even have a tachometer. If they upgraded to a TFT then you can more easily see it and you can have the option of switching to the style of information you would like to see. Just look at it. You have a hard time filming it for the video. When the Sun is out It hard to see and when there is some rain on it it is hard to see. As for the gas tank, 11.2 liters? for real? Could not squeeze in at least a couple more liters? The gas tank is not a deal breaker but come on.
Luckily there is a solution for me. I am close to the end of 2024 and I'm looking at some major competition. 2025 CFMoto 450 CL-C! Price is better, Color is better, has a 13 liter gas tank, and most importantly It has tech that shows you all you would expect to see on a TFT panel. It also has Bluetooth connectivity with navigation. Its has a belt drive that you would see on some of the more expensive cruiser brands. It is reported to have very little vibration at top revs. My only complaint is that it has slightly less HP and Torque than a Honda Rebel 500.
I think Honda Rebel 500 is being beat out for the best beginner bike.
