I think this is one of the more underappreciated tracks in the Bloodborne OST. The violins that start at 00:15 are fantastic.

i've spent hundreds of hours in the chalice dungeons, this is one of the only videogame songs i'll just be minding my business and start randomly humming to myself lol. easily in the top 5 songs in bloodborne and all fromsoft games for that matter

This plays on a bunch of bosses on Chalice Dungeons, but it plays from 0.54 onwards actualy, I never heard the intro to this song played in game. I love this song.

It's fits the Watchdog perfectly. The piece just screams "Vigilant guardian of ancient diety(ies)."

This piece truly is named after its purpose. Not only does it give terrifying reminiscences to Shadow of the Colossus players (Liberated Guardian) when you first hear it for the Watchdog, but for me it's always been most effective for the Headless Bloodletting Beast. That boss is horrifying to look at, took me ages to master, and even several no-kit killings later with half health at BL4 this music helps make it scary.
