Fantastic shot of Royal Albert Bridge built by Isambard Kingdom Brunel that goes over the River Tamar. And the Tamar Bridge which carries the A38 main road. Such a beautiful sight.

What’s the additional “ladders” between the rails over the bridge?

No one in Network Rail got the money to paint the approaches to the bridge before they rust out and cost 1500 times as much to replace? Need a whip round?

It is said brunel, at death's door and who knew he would never be able to attend its opening, was, in his finals days, laid on a flatcar that was slowly pushed along the bridge, so he could look at his masterpeice.
