This is me right now. Way back a year ago, I was wasting away doing absolutely nothing with my life, living for the present pleasure and never thinking of the future. I lived in denial, because I wanted to feel alright and didn't think it would ever come.

Here I am, taking the steps to finally make my dream career (writing) a reality, my mental health is better in a lot of ways, I'm on a keto diet and it's making me feel good enough to live life almost normally, despite my physical issues. For the first time ever, I experienced falling in love in real life, and it was an enlightening experience that crushed a lot of my prior fears, which made me feel really good. It gave me hope, happiness, and motivation, and I discovered more about myself.

I'm on the right track now and I'm never going back; I let go of my old lifestyle for a reason. I believe that things can only get better from here, no matter what happens.. because I'm a better me than I was *way back a year ago.*
