Bruno’s age is it’s actually perfect. The issue with our squad is we don’t have enough players in that sweet spot of 25-29. We have too many older players and too many younger players. The bulk of your players should be in that middle bracket and that’s where we’re most lacking, so a 27 y/o Bruno is precisely what we need.

Bruno G would seriously cook for Man City, literally the most no brainer transfer.

Also, as per our aging squad, I got this from the Athletc which is the approximate breakdown of our squad by age/experience level, and how it was nearly perfect in Treble season (the ideal breakdown is about 25% 50% 25% across the 3 age ranges):

18-23: 27%
24-29: 50%
30+: 23%

Now look at the effects of not properly buying/selling players in the 2 summer windows since the Treble season which show just how much it has deteriorated:
18-23: 26%
24-29: 35%
30+: 39%

This of course is just based on age ranges and clearly does not take into account anything else. But based on this, we can see there is a lot of building that must go on in the coming transfer windows to get back to physical performances of the squad in general terms.

The entire league has gotten better. We didn’t through the transfer market. The gap has shrunk as far as talent goes and other teams have younger legs. We are going to have to sell off a lot of players. Gundo, walker, kovacic maybe even kev. The scouts better get this next one right or we could be looking at a rough situation for a few years boys

He'll give everything on the pitch, seen it week in week out.

The Saudis won't sell him to City for less than a 100mil. It doesn't matter if Bruno would move or not. The Saudis would sell him for 75 or 80 to anybody else. And that's a fact

You're not signing Newcastle's captain in Jan, , , and you're not signing him ever for less then £90, 000, 000... hes also got 3 years left on his contract at the Toon!

Rodri and bruno complimenting one another would be unstoppable

I am eating crow for proclaiming we didn’t need Bruno this summer. Granted, we still had Rodri and we didn’t know Phil would collapse, but we needed depth. He would be an amazing signing and will be amazing next to Rodri next year. Hope it happens.

If Rodri wasn't injured he'd still be carrying Gundo/Bernardo/Foden in CM, (while we kidded ourselves he wasn't). Surely we know now?
Bruno G would be a great start there, but only a start.

Our priority is a destroyer in midfield, Bruno G ain't that player but if we get him as well I'll be happy.

We are 2 midfield players away from a season saving run but I don't think they will come from the EPL.

We might be in the national league come February. You'd be mad to sign without knowing the outcome.
