West Africa's Ivory Coast Announces France's Withdrawal After Senegal, Chad| Firstpost Africa

Ivory Coast's President Alassane Ouattara has announced that French forces will withdraw this month from the West African nation. Ouattara made the announcement in an end-of-year speech. Hours before Ivory Coast, Senegal also confirmed that French troops will leave the nation by the end of this year. Over the last two years, France was forced out of several of its former colonies. It started with the coup belt of West Africa after the military government took charge in Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger. Then Chad, which was considered France's most stable and loyal partner in Africa abruptly ended its military cooperation with its former colonial power. Watch the video for more details.

Why do they still having their military in Africa after all they had done to the African people? What are they doing there? All external military should leave the continent because no African countries has military in their countries.

Shame on Djibouti and all other countries who allow themselves to be used and abused by colonists۔
Use your resources for your own people۔

Remember, the Ivory Coast is in bed with France. Soldiers are leaving, but mercenaries and spies are growing. So the fight is still on.

It's great to see such significant political shifts in West Africa! The move by Ivory Coast reflects a powerful stance for the region's autonomy. Exciting times ahead!

Finally Ivory Coast grew up a spine! Well done!
Quite a crumble for France these last few years: Mali, Burkina Faso, Niger, karabakh, Chad, Senegal, Georgia, Ivory Coast... And hopefully more to come!
It was predictable, arrogance cannot take you any further...

Ivory Coast is feeling the pressure of her citizens. Either the French leave or the president of the Ivory Coast has to leave. France has exploited her former colonies for far too long. Just imagine exploiting a nation of Mali and Niger, two very poor countries.
