I genuinely love this theme because it really captures how sad each you vs crypter fight is, because no one is REALLY in the wrong. Part 1 had a lot of cartoonish evil going on, but in part 2, every single crypter is fighting against you for something real.

Kadoc wanted to prove that he was more than just the worst of the team, after getting shown up both by the other crypters AND by the Chaldea master.
Ophelia wanted to prove herself to Kirschtaria.
Akuta wanted to stay with her love outside of human history forever.
Pepe wanted to show that, even though his LB went completely out of control, he wasn't the reason why.
And Kirschtaria wanted to surpass the flaws of humanity, even as he knew that he was just as (in)capable of making the right choice as you were.

No matter who lost any of those battles, someone's dream was going to die.
