The Open Group OSDU® Forum - Where We are and What's Next?

The OSDU Forum began with an idea to eliminate barriers in accessing and processing massive subsurface data sets. The achievements of the OSDU Forum have factionalized value for Operators and Suppliers alike. This webinar will cover what has been achieved and what is on the roadmap for the future.

Dennis Stevens is the Forum Director for The Open Group OSDU® Forum. The OSDU Forum, made up of over 210 major energy organizations with 2400 registered participants, is creating an open source software platform and associated standards for use by the Energy industry. The objective of the OSDU Data Platform is to harmonize and optimize the compute infrastructure for both subsurface and renewable energy data. He is also the Consortium Director for The Open Group Energistics Consortium affiliate.
The Energistics Consortium is focused on creating and maintaining executable standards for wells, reservoirs, production, units of measure, and real-time data transport for the Energy industry.
