I have the same exact motor and it has a spot where you can hook it directly to the hose you don't have to use the boot for water

@BigIslandMNMinnetonka, Motor is not a 2001 Mercury 115hp 4 stroke CT! It's a 2021 Mercury 115 4 stroke CT

Any videos on the oil seal carrier on that exact motor. The small white cup with the seal. Please explain how to remove and install.

Those rectangular muffs are terrible, always use round muffs
