Another amazing animals video from BIG Feathers Farming series Cat vs Rats!

This amazing cat is hunting for all the rats she can find inside the red barn and chicken coop!

So, I got our rat hunting barn cat to catch all the rats and rodents she could find! I set her down and let her go catch them all. She had sensed some rats or other Rodents in a certain area so I scared the rats from one side while she caught the rats from the other side. She also had sensed some rats in a couple of holes and without hesitation was pawing in the holes and got the rats to come out so she could catch them.

Homesteading is sometimes amazing and interesting! I have become more and more a true cat lover, seeing how productive the cats are on our farm! It's a true win win situation for the chickens, the cats and me! These rodents can make people direct and indirectly sick and in this way we don't need to use chemicals and let nature go! I love FARMING on our little Homestead!

Getting a cat was definitely a worthwhile investment back when I lived in the country, mice used to be everywhere in the house in the winter. Got a cat one year and came home to a nice neat pile of mice on the floor, still have the cat but he's retired now and I love him.
