why doesn't the negative charges on the cloth gets transferred to the glass rod ?

I saw some other people also had the same doubt and you say that one material loose electron easily than the other
so what makes the glass rod lose its electron easily and why couldn't it be the cloth

Mam i get it that when you ruh a glass rod with silk, it gets positively charged. That's a statement, i get that. However, my actual question is WHY does this happen, WHY does it get positively charged or in other words as you said, why do the electrons move from the rod to the silk cloth and not in the opposite way?

Mam I have a doubt ki agar ek silk ka cloth glass se rub hoga toh woh bhi electron loose kar sakta hai aur jo bhi material electron loose karta hai woh positive banta hai toh yahan yoh silh bhi positivee ban sakta hai na???? Plz mam clear my doubt.
