Where you started your video was at one time a huge Woolworth’s and the Macy’s on Roosevelt was a Gertz Department Store where I got my photo with Santa Claus back around 1960. My mom loved shopping there. My dentist was across from the RKO Keith’s theatre.
on the SE corner of Main St and Northern Blvd above what was once a Nedick’s Hot Dog place. Used to take the B58 from Maspeth all the time. Ancient history now and great memories!
