In the City of San Jose, last call is 1:30 am. Bar must close at 3 am. Victim found in bar after 3 am. People were nursing their drinks for 1.5 hours, of course.

He died because the paramedics are not allowed to enter until the PD has “secured” the scene. You can hear the frustration in the dispatchers voice. She is obviously peeved that the paramedic/ fire fighter is REFUSING to enter EVEN THOUGH she has told him the scene is secured. SJFD HAS BEEN LACKING LEADERSHIP FOR YEARS. someone needs to get in there and clean house. It’s been a mess forever.

Ps. My guess? The people in those bars until 3, 4 am? gambling.
