😮 similar experience growing up vietnamese/chinese in Australia. But 1 thing I found for myself was being vietnamese chinese i looked very chinese for a person who could speak vietnamese which always was interesting around other vietnamese people and chinese people that talk to me

I love London because its the most multi culture city in the world. Where there are more languages being spoken at any given time than anywhere else.

Here in Panama we have a large amount of Chinese. They're kinda like a merchant class. As a joke I say they're more Latino than I am. They speak Spanish a lot better than I do as well. The Chinese community of Panama goes way back to the Canal Construction days. So they've been here awhile. It's like our version of the ABC's (American Born Chinese) of California. They're more Panamanian than I am. I've had to stradle between the worlds as well, Northern Europe, USA and Latin America.
