Ben Carson came to New Zealand and spoke at a religious meeting I was invited to. The story we were told was of a man who raised by a single mum had become a gifted surgeon who was known for the lives he had saved through his "gifted hands" (also the name of a book about him). He was my hero of sorts. The he decided he wanted to run for president, failed and aligned himself with Trump to get as much policital power as he could and was responsible for so much harm to the people he was voted to protect. NOW he says Trump is a born again christian? Ben Carson lost all credibility with the lies and his disgraceful behaviour.
