Good to see a CNBC video where India is not being stereotyped to the 90s Chandini Chowk. We truly have come far in renewable energy. Jai Hind!!! 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳

Costa Rica has 100% sustainable energy that lasts months. Even though it's a small country, the ability to sustain 100% of the country's energy needs should also be taken into account when determining the leaders in this field

Currently speaking, Kenya's renewable energy mix makes up to more than 90% of the total power produced and consumed. Clearly one of the highest in the world.

I remember once in a popular mechanics magazine a long time ago, they had an idea where you can use a special type of wind blade installed in the centre of highways in the cities and they would turn from the wind produced from passing cars and trucks. Its would produce enough power for the lights at the side of the highways.

Renewable energy still has plenty of room to grow in Brazil, especially solar, wind and biomass.

This video has pretty outdated info. Few things they missed:
-Hydroelectric is not necessarily green, as it releases greenhouse gases from the water reservoir effects
-The UAE is one of the largest solar producers in the world
-The Paris Agreement may not have been very effective or enforced
-Human produced energy is laughably small. pedaling a bike only produces enough energy to power a single light bulb
