The Duster was a desirable car when I was a young adult in the 1970s. The Challenger was cool but heavy. The Duster was light and fast. The 318 was a good motor too. The 340 was better but the 318 was a contender. This car has a lot of potential.

I'm a Mopar fan from years ago and still a fan.
But I would pass on this one for that price.
It needs a bunch of work.
That's a 7 or 8 thousand dollar car.
Then you can build it up.

The 318 was the most under-rated motor in the muscle car era... it's got plenty of power & easy to work on... imperfections abound but, patience & time can make this Duster a real jewel... thanks Nick 😊

This is a great starter car. Solid but does need some work. You can actually do a lot with a 318 if you get the right heads, cam and intake.
