I have an 2015 impala Ls l4, my car is currently at the mechanic shop, whenever they put a used transmission in, do I have to take it to the dealership to get it reprogrammed? Or no because the used transmission they’re putting in is stock and it matches with my vin #

From your experience do you think I can replace a 6T40 Gen1 from my Opel Astra J with a new one transmission 6T40 Gen2 and programming the new TCM(clear TCM) for my car without any problems at the synchronization with the ECU of my car? Thanks! (The same car with the same engine code after 2012 equipped with a Gen2 6T40)

Put a upgraded tranny in a 06 lbz with Allison 1000 6 speed had a man relearn the tranny but it wouldn't let him do a relearn any ideas why

I have chevy cruze (Daewoo Lacceti) 2010 model from South Korea, I had issues with the automatic transmission for some time and I decided to convert it to manual transmission. The conversion has been done but my auto electrician is not able to start the engine for me. We have consulted other auto electrician available but it seems they are clueless. The diagnostic machine detects there is break in communication with the TCM. Any help?
