Thank you for your review. I am a recent convert to airgunning and, after a few attempts filling my Air Arms rifle with a Hill hand pump, I’m considering an air compressor! Your information, particularly on the warranty experience, is very helpful. I would imagine all of the initial failure possibilities have been addressed by now and the unit should be stable. It certainly appears better made than the cheap ones!

Hello, I see that it has been almost a year since you posted this video and was wondering if you could do an update telling us a little bit more about what your experience has been with the Hill compressor in the last 11 months. I bought one about 3 weeks ago and it has been very good. The only thing I have seen that needs to be watched is that the wire that goes into the temperature sensor was laying directly on the tubing while the compressor was running. I simply placed a small piece of insulation between the wire and to tubing to deflect some of the heat coming out of tubing and keeping the wire from melting.
An update would be helpful and give us some insight into what we need to be watching out for as we use this compressor. Thank you for all you have done in explaining how this unit works.

Was going to buy one (Hill compressor) but noticed that from a few weeks ago they raised the price by $400...almost 50%. No Way!
From me researching PCP compressors this is a nice one but it's a real turn-off when out of no where they suddenly raise the price by $400. Quite an incentive to continue getting some exercise with the hand pump or look for an alternative.

Can I be 100% sure that no moisture goes into my bottle? Can it handle a 9l bottle?

If you're only filling to 200bar you could use a hand pump and not only save a lot of money but get good exercise.

i just unpacked my hill this morning. brand new! filled it with oil as instructed. i put a plug in the whip to test it. well it pumped up to 930 psi. then the pop off valve on the cylinder head started popping. i am lets say disappointed. pay that much for something and it won't work from the factory.

I would get a real scuba bauer compressor or get multiple 12 liter 300 bar steel cylinders. Oil and water are bad for air cylinders. If you can afford a E 2200 FX pcp with 2000 euros on accessories with it then a scuba compressor would not be a problem.
