I know this is an old video but i work for a company that used to sell these units. We still build the seed kits and fun fact we put the seeds in the pods when they are dry and just a drop of a type of glue that is safe for the seeds. If you get empty pods that just means unfortunately the machine missed those pods in the seeding process and they got through. I love seeing videos like this makes me love my job 😁

I just bought an AeroGarden bounty and a harvest elite, to start my hydroponics journey. I found and love your channel.

Thank you. I have learned sooo much from you. I particularly am glad to learn about the hose especially since I plan on buying one of the farms and would hate to have to lift anything heavier than the smaller ones I presently own ( I move about with the use of a walker) :))). I am subscribed so that I don't miss any of your informative videos.

I have had the Farm Plus for 2.5 years and absolutely love it! I would love to see more videos of what you are growing in your farm.

When I got my first Aerogarden Harvest 11 years ago I got a tomato seed kit. They are heirloom so I've saved seeds every year and haven't bought seeds again. I buy the pod parts in bulk too. I'm seriously considering expanding to the farm units. At the moment we've got 7 smaller units, and they keep us in salad and pesto...but I'd love large tomatoes, cucumbers and larger peppers.

I have spent the last two weeks considering growing my herbs and lettuce hydroponically. This has lead me to the Aerogarden. After much reading, and increasing frustration, due to the lack of good and believable information, resource

Try using hydrogaurd or even better Great White to help prevent root rot and algae growth. Works great!
Also stretching a panty hose over your inlet will help keep roots out of the pump. Helps prevent pump foul ups.
Love your videos. Very well thought out and informative.

I just ordered the Farm 24XL! Came to YT to check out videos. So glad I did!
I’m excited and can hardly wait to get started!
My plan is 2 tomatoes, 2 pepper on 1-side and several herbs on the other.
Does that sound ok?

You said you have been using AeroGardens for years. How long does the light last? I don't see a light replacement for these. I just bought the AeroGarden Bounty Basic. It is arriving tomorrow. I just can't wait!!! I Love Your Videos!!!! Thank You!!!!

My apologies, I forgot about that. A cheaper, hopefully more available to you, alternative would be Southern AG garden friendly fungicide or Great White mycorrhizae. The Great White is pricey but a 4 oz. container lasts a loooong time. It's also a top of the line water soluble product to fight root rot and algae with lots of beneficial bacteria. All the while promoting plant nutrient/water uptake and root growth. Add a few small pieces of coral or lava rocks at the bottom of the water bowl to help the mycorrhizae and other beneficial bacteria get a better foothold to colonize your plant's roots.

I like to make more O2 available to the roots by adding a water stone (black air hose only) to my Aerogarden setup for supercharged growth.

Plants love it!

Is there a way you can save the seeds from the fruits harvested and save them to regrow the same fruits or vegetables over and over and to save a lot of money that way? Would be cool to save most of the seed from they fruits or peppers. Like tomato seeds from freshly grown tomatoes for examples? 😃 ❤ 👍 👁

Is this one with the 12 holes the biggest one?

Um, hacker pro tip. Using included functionality IS NOT a “hack” - a hack would be adding something to the garden that didn’t come as a standard feature… like adding an aquarium pump and an air stone to get more oxygen to the roots for explosive growth and yield would be a “hack”
